Heya guys/gals, been a while since i updated my own journal. After seeing quite a few update their's in the last few days.. no, weeks would be better termed there; anyway, enough journals have passed my way to make me do my own.

July 1/09 is as good day to do some updating; namely because of two reasons. It's Canada day! The country is 142 years old today! ( if your reading this, I don't care how old Spain is. It's Canada's b-day today! XD )



Today is also an important day for newfoundland, and since this is my province of residence, I feel obligated to mention it. Back in WW1, the Royal Newfoundland Regiment was in a battle at a place called Beaument Hamel. It was a battle so bloody, looking at the official stats at here [link] to summarize their losses, only 68 men were for roll call the day after the battle, out of a total of 780 men. That's less than ten percent which we able to stand and fight. It happened in 1916, 93 years ago today.
